Jayden Scott Taylor, infant son of Patrick D. R. and Amanda L. (McDonald) Taylor of Newville, died suddenly Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on Saturday, July 30, 2011, in Carlisle.

In addition to his parents, Jayden is survived by his paternal grandparents; Thura and Patrick H. Taylor of Newville, maternal grandparents; Cindy McDonald of Carlisle and Rodney McDonald of Chambersburg, paternal great-grandparents; Patricia and Paul Barclay of Mechanicsburg and Linda Getz of Highspire, maternal great-grandparents, Mark and Madella Keeseman of Newville, one uncle, Devin McDonald of Carlisle and two aunts; Morgan Carbaugh of Fayetteville and Violet Taylor of Newville. Jayden was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents; Dorothy and Pete Bender and paternal great-grandfather, Daryl Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Harold Jones officiating. Viewing will be held on Monday from 2 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be private in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to help with burial expenses be made to Jayden's mother, Amanda L. Taylor, 76 Big Spring Terrace, Newville, PA 17241.
