Jay L. McKeehan, 74, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at ProMedica, Carlisle.  He was born on September 14, 1947, in Carlisle and was a son of the late Edgar F. McKeehan, Sr. and Marie L. (Bender) McKeehan.

Jay graduated from Big Spring High School in 1965.  He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.  Jay worked in construction most of his life.  He was the office manager for Patwell Homes in Chambersburg and then worked for JLG Industries and New Enterprise.  Jay was a member of several social clubs in the Carlisle area.

He is survived by brothers, Roger L. (wife Bonnie), and Dale L. (wife Donna) McKeehan both of Carlisle, two sisters, Barbara J. (husband Jeff) Smith, and Brenda K. (husband Jim) Brant both of Carlisle, five children, a sister-in-law Pat McKeehan and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Edgar F. McKeehan, Jr.

Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  www.Since1853.com.
