Janet A. Lloyd, 84, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at UPMC Harrisburg.  She was born on August 12, 1938, in Cleversburg, Cumberland County and was a daughter of the late Bruce Helm and Leila (Gutshall) Helm and was the widow of Ronnie R. Lloyd who passed away in 1990.

Janet was a loving homemaker and was always working.  She most recently received a 20-year recognition of employment from the Carlisle Wal-Mart.  She formerly worked as a caregiver for five years and worked at several manufacturing companies in the Carlisle area including, P. R. Hoffman and Carlisle Tire and Rubber.  Janet has been a longtime member of The Meeting House-Carlisle Campus and where she was a former Sunday School Teacher.  Janet loved music, skating and the movies.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Flick of Etters, Danny Besore of Tucson, AZ, Robin Eugene Lloyd of Carlisle and Tammy Sollenberger of Carlisle, two sisters, Betty Fox of Fayetteville and Judy Helm of Chambersburg and one grandson Deric Sollenberger of Carlisle.  Janet was preceded in death by one granddaughter Jasmine Besore.

A viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle with Rev.
