Janet M. Emmett, 72, formerly of Ewing, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Amoroso Wellness of York after a battle with cancer.  She was a daughter of the late Henry Clement and Deidre (McVay) Clement.   She was predeceased by her husband Robert Emmett, whom she was a caretaker of for many years.

Janet graduated from Trenton Catholic High School with the Class of 1970.  She retired from the New Jersey Department of Transportation, where she was an administrative assistant for many years.  Janet loved country music, puzzles, golf, and the Philadelphia Phillies.  She was also an avid bowler in her younger years.  Janet will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Crystal L. Emmett, son-in-law Zach A. Latchford, grandson Jacob Latchford of Carlisle, sister D'Anne Clement Corley, and two brothers, Michael and Patrick Clement. Janet was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Clement.
