Jane A. Stutzman, 91, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle.

Born in Monroe, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Carrollton and Georgia (Jaynes) Clause.

Jane graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, Michigan in 1951 and Nyack College in 1954. Although she did clerical work during and after High School and worked as both a secretary and an Executive Secretary in several banks during and after her college years, it was her role as a pastor's wife that brought her the most joy and fulfillment.

She married the love of her life, Rev. Bruce W. Stutzman in 1955 and served faithfully by his side in five different churches over the course of nearly 40 years. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and Good News Clubs for Child Evangelism Fellowship.

Survivors include her two daughters: Kathy Bogart (Greg) of Womelsdorf, PA, and Cheri Keller (Tim) of Grove City, PA; her sister, Nancy (Clause) Fry (Gregg) of Red Bluff, CA; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and 10 nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Bruce; sister Brenda (Clause) Burrows; brother Paul Clause.

Services will be held at Henry Chapel at Chapel Pointe, 770 S. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am and the service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastors Steve Motter, Jeremy Brandenburg, and Tim Keller officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs, PA.
