Jane Buehler Sadler, 83, of Carlisle, died Thursday, August 25, 2011, at her home. She was born on Monday, September 12, 1927, in Gettysburg, a daughter of the late Arthur R. Buehler and Anna L. (Eden) Buehler, and the widow of Lewis W. Sadler, who died July 8, 1997.

Jane was a 1945 graduate of Gettysburg High School. She was employed for over 20 years with the former General Grinding Wheel Co., Carlisle. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Carlisle, and she enjoyed playing Bridge.

She is survived by two sons; David W. Sadler of Warwick, NY and James R. Sadler of Carlisle, one daughter, Charlotte B. Sadler of Cape May Courthouse, NJ, two brothers; Arthur Buehler of Wilmington, NC and David Buehler of Marietta, GA, two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by one sister, Caroline E. Buehler.

Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Gettysburg. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements.
