Jamie L. Regis, 27, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was born on Saturday, July 2, 1983 in Carlisle and was the daughter of Myra M. Thumma of Carlisle and the late Danny Lee Mahanes.

She received her high school diploma through the Cumberland Valley School District's Graduate Program and completed on-line college courses in pre-school education. Jamie was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children.

In addition to her mother, Myra M. Thumma (and partner, Kathi M. Zeigler), Jamie is survived by her three daughters; Eiyanna Y. Regis, Koshayia M. Regis and Laticia S. Aquino, all at home, her step-daughter, Sushanna Regis of Carlisle, her brother, Joshua R. Thumma of Carlisle, her step-father, Todd R. Thumma of Boiling Springs, her maternal grandmother, Barbara A. Fritz of Carlisle, her paternal grandfather, Flint B. Mahanes of Boiling Springs, her half-brother, Jason Mahanes of Carlisle, her half-sister, Jennifer (Mahanes) Britton of Carlisle and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Richard D. Fritz and her paternal grandmother, Judy Mahanes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Pastor Tim Wheeler will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
