James R. Windowmaker, Jr., 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at UPMC-Carlisle.  He was born on May 4, 1938 in Gardners and was a son of the late James R. Windowmaker, Sr. and Clara Steigleman.

Jim retired after more than 40 years of service with the former C. H. Masland and Lear Corp. in Carlisle.  Jim enjoyed walking his black lab and reading his Bible daily.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Mary Ann (Fraker) Windowmaker, one son, James W. Windowmaker, III of Millerstown, two daughters; Barbara A. Negley (husband, Hal Hamer) of Harrisburg and Patty J. (husband, Dennis "Jeff") Ott of Newburg, one brother, Charles Windowmaker of Gardners, one step-sister, Joan Nicholson of Mt. Holly Springs, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Jim was predeceased by one son, Andrew L. Windowmaker, one brother, Ronald Windowmaker and one daughter-in-law, Tina Windowmaker.

A viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Michael Poe officiating.  Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  www.Since1853.com.
