IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James F.
Valle
October 8, 1941 – March 6, 2024
James "Jim" Floyd Valle of Carlisle Pennsylvania departed this life on March 6, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on October 8, 1941, Jim lived a life guided by service and commitment. As a young man, he answered the call of duty and proudly donned the uniform of the United States Navy, serving his country with honor and distinction.
Upon returning to civilian life, Jim embarked on a career that would see him driving stock cars at Silvers Spring Speedway, working in the coal mines, a career at Conrail, and with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. These roles, demanding both strength and integrity, were a testament to his character and work ethic.
Away from work, Jim was happiest when at his property on Raystown Lake and being out on the water with his wife of 36 years Priscilla and their dogs. Boating was more than a hobby—it was a sanctuary and source of great joy. He also found pleasure in traveling across the country, exploring new places, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
In his passing, Jim leaves behind a legacy of love and perseverance. He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Valle; his sons, James (Jaime) Valle and William (Frank) Valle and wife Elizabeth; Stepchildren Doug Brehm, Mike Brehm, Scott Spahr and Beth Spahr; his grandchildren, Kelli Duncan, Wade Valle, Dana Brehm, Allie and husband Dayron Gorina, Ben Brehm, Alise Brehm and great granddaughter Gianna Gorina who will carry forward his passion for life and family. Jim was preceded by his son John Valle, grandson Tyler Brehm and by his parents, Evelyn Smith and William Valle.
His life will be celebrated and remembered as one of unwavering loyalty, enduring strength, and a profound dedication to his loved ones. Jim's family invites those who knew and cherished him to join in honoring his memory. A private service for family will be scheduled at a later date. www.EwingBrothers.com.
