Our beloved James Robert Paviol, 'Jimmy, Jimbo, JimBob, JR, Jim' passed on from this life June 2, 2020 in South Jordan, Utah at 66. Jim was originally from Carlisle, PA born January 3, 1954 to the late Sara Paviol Durkin of East Drumore, PA & the late James Arthur Paviol of Carlisle, PA.

Jim was a resident of Houston, Texas, Melbourne, Fl. Kansas City, KS & Carlisle, PA.

Jim was a Sr. Scientist Dr. of Electronic Engineering State College, PA PSU & Masters at KU Kansas City, KS. He designed Communication RFIC, RF & Microwave Equipment. He worked for Cyberonics Houston, TX. Harris Corporation Clifton, NJ & FL. Collins Aerospace Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Northrup Grumman Linthicum Heights, MD, & Considering Consulting at Lockheed Martin Houston, TX while Semi-Retired.

Jim is preceded in death by his adored beloved Mother Sara Paviol Durkin & Father James Arthur Paviol.  Maternal Grandparents Emma Louise Lowe & Howard Scott Grubb of York & Lancaster County. Paternal Grandparents Maurice & Alice Paviol of Cumberland, PA.

Jim leaves behind his forever love & partner of 7 years Katherine Tacquard-Cruse of Galveston, Texas. Phillip Paviol doting loving son & his Mother Linda of Melbourne, Fl. Wonderful daughter in law, Lauren Campagna Paviol & her parents Tom & Denise Campagna of Melbourne, Fl. Lovely Grandkids Jackson Phillip Paviol & Hadley Denise Paviol. Step-Sons Corey Bruner & Family & Nick Bruner of Melbourne, Fl. The Fabulous 4 Brothers Dr. John Paviol, Charlotte, NC. Dave Paviol San Diego, CA, Ed Paviol, Carlisle, PA, Bill Paviol, Pittsburgh, PA & 1 Fantastic Sister Michelle Paviol Whitfield Seattle, WA. Loving nieces & nephews Dax, Sara, Scott, Jaclyn, Aidan & Layne.

Jim loved Electronic Engineering which began with his Electronic Train Set as a child 🚂 that took off from there & he never looked back. He loved building & flying his RC planes which ended up in the cornfield or road a few times! When he wasn't working in the Lab him & Kathy were traveling America The Beautiful! Alaska Hawaii Rome Sicily. Jim thoroughly enjoyed Peru & Greece as well.

Jim loved Genealogy playing his Native American Flutes. He loved visiting all his family & friends. He had such fond wonderful memories growing up with his brothers on the farm & His infamous Uncle Marlin & Aunt Alice! MARLIN!!!... or swimming at the Lake. Jim will be sadly and sorely missed by ALL.

A service was held in his honor in Ashland Cemetery Carlisle, PA, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. The family would like to extend their special thanks to Steve.
