James M. Morrison, 86, of Carlisle,passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Carlisle Regional Medical Centerafter a brief illness. He was born on July 2, 1929 near Newville, a son of the late Cirus James Morrison and Almedia (Mayberry) Morrison.

Jim served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from the former C. H. Masland & Sons, Carlisle, after many years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth A. (Boyles) Morrison, two daughters; Jamie M. DePalma and Candace L. Weller and other extended family members.
