Jaclyn Mountz, 98, of Carlisle passed away at Thornwald Home on Monday November 3, 2025. She was born on January 13, 1927 in Carlisle to the late John E. and Minnie (Nailor) Andrews. Jaclyn was the widow of Vaughn H. Mountz who died December 29, 2008, and was the owner of Vaughn H. Mountz Jewelry store and operator until September 1979 when he sold the business, they were married for 62 years when Mr. Mountz passed away. After retiring they spent the winters in Naples, FL where they were members of High Point Country Club. They were both very active in golf, tennis and swimming. Jaclyn was in several organizations and enjoyed playing bridge and 500. Jaclyn and her husband won several tennis trophies at the Myrtle Beach S.C. Golf and Tennis Club and the High Point Country Club in Naples, FL. Jaclyn graduated from Carlisle High School with the class of 1944. They were both members of Allison United Methodist Church, now Carlisle United Methodist Church. Jaclyn was a dental assistant to Dr. Robert Rearick DDS of Carlisle and later worked in the Jewelry store with her husband. Jaclyn is survived by her niece Krista (her husband Randy) Uplinger of Kittanning, PA, her very close friend Freda Neidigh of Newville, PA., and several cousins in the Dillsburg area. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother John E. (his wife Betty) Andrews and a niece Cynthia Sue Andrews.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
