Harold A. Brenizer, 79, of Carlisle passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 28, 1940 in Carlisle and was a son of the late Melvin E. Brenizer, Sr. and Katherine J. (Shearer) Brenizer and was married to the late Ruth E. (Greegor) Brenizer, who passed away January 13, 2013.
Harold retired in 2002 after many years of service with C. H. Masland & Sons/Lear Corp. He was a member since 1973 of Local 1739 Textile Workers Union of America. He was a life member of the Eagles and member of the Circle and the AmVets, all of Carlisle. Harold was a sportsman who loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two daughters, Roxanna R. Trayer (Clayton, II) of Carlisle and Raquel R. Wert (Jeffrey Nickle) of Newville, two brothers, Chester Brenizer and Melvin Brenizer, Jr., one sister, Doris Fair, one step-daughter, Teresa L. (Clark) Dunkle of Carlisle, three grandchildren, Jeremy Kuykendall, Keith Sawdy and Tyler Wert, one great-granddaughter, Audrey Rose, several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Garry, John, Raymond, Richard and Marlin Brenizer, one sister, Marlene Brehm, one stepsister, Shirley Orman and two stepdaughters, Nancy Naugle and Lisa Beck.
A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs. www.EwingBrothers.com.
