Gloria Arlene Taylor, 90, of Carlisle passed away peacefully Friday, June 24, 2022, at

Thornwald Home, Carlisle, PA. She was born in Carlisle on December 13, 1931, oldest

daughter of the late Ray Franklin Jumper and Elizabeth Grace (Neidigh) Jumper. Gloria was

the widow of Elwood William Taylor whom she married on June 29, 1952, and who died on

December 3, 2008.

Among those proceeding Gloria in death are her two brothers Ray Jumper, Jr., Harold Jumper

and her sister Mary Hunter.

Gloria's survivors include her loving children: Deborah Kenney of Mechanicsburg; Steven

Taylor and his wife, Catherine of Mechanicsburg. She has five grandchildren: Nathaniel Taylor,

Christopher Taylor, Weston Taylor, C. Ryan Kenney (wife Alyssa), and Alana (Kenney) Rieck

(husband Everett). 'Nana' was blessed to have five great grandchildren: Jaycob, Zachary and

Kyle Kenney; Skyler and Aubrey Rieck; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Gloria was a member of the Wesleyan Church of the Cross. Gloria was a very spiritual woman

her entire life and lived her life according to God's words within her red leather bound Holy Bible.

She was a loving Mother and devoted matriarch of the entire family. She was kind hearted and

loved and nurtured all that she came in contact with throughout her life. She loved beautiful

flowers and gardening. She was an incredible cook, kept an immaculate home and loved

spending time with her family.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, followed by a Celebration of Life Service

at 11:00 a.m. in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Tom

Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution be made to Thornwald Home

'Benevolent Fund', 442 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, PA, 17013 where Gloria has resided the
