Glenn L. Baer, 78 of Newville, passed away at Carlisle Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation on Thursday, January 29, 2026. He was born on August 3, 1947, at home in Newville to the late Jacob and Emma (Shughart) Baer.

Glenn was a maintenance worker for the South Middleton School District.

He is survived by his wife Betty (Coldsmith) Baer, two daughters, Faith husband Gordon Heisey and Angie husband Bob Dolbin one son Glenn Baer, II and wife Kayla, one brother John Baer and wife Mindy, two step daughters, 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.  He was proceeded in death by brothers Jake, Bob and Dale Baer. Rocky his dog was his most loved possession.
