Glenda (Rotz) Clepper, 71, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at UPMC-Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born in Chambersburg on August 17, 1946, to Percy S. Rotz and the late Evelyn (Patterson) Rotz.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Darrell Clepper, and daughters, Jennifer Mangel (Kevin) of Pittsburgh and Emily Clepper of Carlisle. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Faith and Brady Mangel, whom she adored. She leaves behind her brother, Alan Rotz (Patricia) of Allentown, several nieces and a nephew.

Glenda graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1964 and from Shippensburg University in 1967. She played the saxophone throughout high school and college. She was a former English teacher in the Carlisle Area School District. In later years she worked for Educational Travel Experiences. She was a member of the former Allison United Methodist Church and a member of Carlisle United Methodist Church since its inception in 2013. She was very active in the United Methodist Women for many years. She also enjoyed attending her book group, bridge club, and anything social, as well as relaxing at the pool.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carlisle United Methodist Church, 45 S. West St., Carlisle, with Rev. Mira Hewlett and Rev. James VanZandt officiating. A time of fellowship will immediately follow the service at the church. Burial will be privately held in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
