I lost track of George after we both entered the service. We both played on the same teener league baseball team. George was a power pitcher who could do it all. Never forget I threw a one-hitter and George knocked in the winning run. He was an outstanding baseball player. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. God bless the family.

What a shock! Tucker and the 2 Georges were the welcoming committee at the 9th Marine reunions. They would sit at the front door of what ever hotel we stayed in and greet newcomers, even if they weren't from our group. We will miss George a lot!
