Garyson D. Rice, 74, of Carlisle and formerly Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the Sarah Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle.  He was born on October 11, 1950, in Carlisle and was a son of the late George W. Rice, Sr. and Mary V. (Gaines) Rice.

Garyson graduated from Carlisle High School with the Class of 1969.  He retired from AMP Inc. where he was a Senior Purchasing Agent.

He is survived by three sisters, Sharon D. Rice of Carlisle, Dolly Rice (husband, Craig) Kern of Carlisle and Vickie N. Brevik of Carlisle, his companion Sandra Smith of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death one brother George W. Rice, Jr. and one sister Toni L. Rice

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025, in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle with Rev.
