Gary D. "Rip" Love, 75, of Mt. Holly Springs passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at his home.  He was born on July 25, 1949, in Shallowater, Lubbock County, Texas and was a son of the late Jesse James Love and LaJuan (Horton) Love.

Gary was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era and served from 1970 to 1972.  He retired from P.P.G. Industries, Carlisle after many years of service as a process controller.  Gary was a member of the American Legion Post 101, Carlisle.

He is survived by one son Marc (Anita) Love of Bakersfield, CA, one daughter Sara (Patrick "Chet") Bowers of Carlisle, one brother Jeffery Love of Texas, one sister Deborah Miller of Colorado and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one sister Wanda Spence.
