Gail was a 1950 graduate of Carlisle High School and the former Carlisle Hospital Nursing School, where she earned her L.P.N. credentials. Gail had worked at the former Carlisle Hospital, the Church of God Home, Carlisle and also as a private duty nurse . She was an avid bowler and member of the American Bowling Association.

She is survived by four sons; Paul Michael (and his wife Lu Ann) Bouder of Carlisle, Ron and his wife, Paula) Bouder of Boiling Springs, Jack (and his wife, Connie) Bouder of Carlisle and Jeffrey (and his wife, Lisa) Bouder of Newville, one sister, Fern "Bob" Newcomber of Newville, nine grandchildren; Michael, Aaron, Shane, Lake, Brooke, Wade, Jeffrey, Tyler and Jaime, three great-grandchildren and many other extended family members. Gail was preceded in death by one son, Joey S. Bouder and three sisters; Jane Motter, Esther Ramp and Twyla Anderson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
