Fred M. Myers, 77, of Carlisle, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 11, 1936, in Cumberland County.

Fred was a US Army veteran and served during the Korean War. Heformerly operated a painting and contracting business in Carlisle. Fred was a member of several social clubs in the Carlisle area, includingCarlisle Eagles Aerie 1299 and the White Circle Club. He was of Presbyterian faith.

Services and burial will be private. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.
