Francis E. Wilson, 89, of Cumming, GA and formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Accent Care in Cumming.  He was born on June 23, 1933, in New Cumberland and was a son of the late Lee Wilson and Catherine (Hinnenkamp) Wilson.  He was married to the late E. Louise (Fletcher) Wilson.

Francis was an electronics repairman by trade but excelled in many other fields throughout his life.  He built multiple homes and was a gifted woodworker.  He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle for nearly twenty years before recently relocating to Cumming, Georgia.  He truly loved children and was a generous and loving father so it was no surprise that he also enjoyed spending time with his sons and daughters and their families.  Francis will be fondly remembered by all for his quick wit and great sense of humor.

Surviving are sons, Christopher L. Wilson of Cumming, GA and Gordon F. Wilson of Weddington, NC, daughters, Terrie L. Wimberly of Jacksonville, FL, Susan C. Hughmanick of Sinking Springs, PA and Josine L. Buss of Cumming, GA, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Dr., Carlisle with Rev. Father Javed Kashif.  A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Carlisle.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.EwingBrothers.com .
