Fay Grove, 97, of Camp Hill and formerly of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services in Camp Hill. She was born on Feb. 2, 1918 in Somerset and was a daughter of the late Russell and Ethel (Long) Pyle. She was the widow of Ray S. Grove, who died Jan. 18, 1990.

Fay was a 1936 graduate of Somerset High School. She retired from the former Farmers Trust Co. in Carlisle after many years of service. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Carlisle.

She is survived by one sister, Charlotte Conser of Salem, OH and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Robert Pyle and one sister, Loris Bender.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Ritner Highway, Carlisle, with Rev. Rachel Schwab officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials in Fay's name may be made to her church.
