Obituary
Evelyn retired from the former Carlisle Tire & Rubber Co. after more than 35 years of service. She was a member of Waggoners United Methodist Church, Carlisle. Evelyn enjoyed her grandchildren, reading, Penn State football and Penn State girls basketball.
She is survived by one son, Johnnie L. Zimmerman and his wife, Cathie of Carlisle, two grandsons; Jeffrey and Mark Zimmerman, three great-grandchildren; Noah, Noelle and Mark Zimmerman, II and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Marlin "Pete" Keller and William Keller and one sister, Beatrice Zimmerman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Timothy A. Funk officiating. Burial will be in Waggoners United Methodist Church Cemetery. A viewing will be on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Waggoners United Methodist Church, 1055 Longs Gap Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013.
