Ethel Taylor, 94, of Carlisle, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, June 7, 2019.  She was born July 24, 1924 in Yorkshire, England and was the daughter of the late David and Helena (Lowe) Taylor.  She was preceded in death by three sisters, Florence Sevitski, Ruth Morgan and Alma Massi.  She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Ethel was raised in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from the Philadelphia School of the Bible.  At age 19 she came to know the Lord through the witness of a good friend.

Ethel was very involved in Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern Pennsylvania, Inc. and initially worked as a summer missionary in Lehigh and Schuylkill Counties.  From 1954 to 1956 she was the Director for CEF of Lehigh County, and from 1956 to 1966 she was the Director for CEF of Bucks County.  From 1966 until her retirement she was the Director for CEF of Cumberland County.  After her official retirement she continued to work part-time at the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern Pennsylvania, Inc. State Office in Harrisburg, PA.  Many children were saved during her ministry.

Ethel attended Faith Chapel, Carlisle, PA.

There will be a private graveside service at Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery with Rev.
