Esther M. Wadsworth, 91, of Carlisle, died on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Forest Park Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on August 30, 1933, in Dellville, PA to the late Clair Smee and Mabel (Kitner) Smee.

Esther graduated from Perry Joint High School in New Bloomfield with the class of 1952. She worked for more than 10 years at Woolworth in Carlisle, and, retired from the former G. S. Electric after 27 plus years as a machine operator.  She was a member of The Loft.

She is survived by her daughter in law Sue Wadsworth and two sisters, Arlene Souder and Betty Jane Smee.  Esther was preceded in death by one son Daryl Wadsworth, one brother Robert Lee Smee, and two sisters, Anna Marie Paulus and Barbara Parkinson.
