Erma G. Warehime, 97, of Carlisle, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born on Sunday, September 28, 1913, in Gardners, a daughter of the late Garfield and Gearldine (Miller) Miller and the widow of Russell Warehime, who died May 12, 1964.

Erma was formerly employed in the housekeeping department with the Allenberry Resort Inn, Boiling Springs. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses Carlisle Congregation. Erma enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by her son, Glenn L. (and his wife, Darlene) Warehime of Carlisle and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edith L. Mizell, who died March 18, 2005, three sisters and a brother.

Private graveside services will be held in the Springville Cemetery, Boiling Springs. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Jehovah Witnesses Carlisle Congregation, 1 Mooredale Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015.
