Ellen M. Roesler passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at the age of 69. She was born on November 27th, 1956, in Harper, Liberia and was the daughter of the late Daniel Morrison and Gbou ( Wee) Morrison.

Ellen spent most of her life in Liberia where she became a third-grade schoolteacher and raised her children. Ellen moved to the United States when she 47 years old. She pursued a career in home health care. Ellen was a member of the Jehovah Witness Carlisle Congregation.

Ellen was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She touched the lives of everyone around her. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will be remembered in our hearts forever. She is now at peace reunited with the ones that have gone before her, son Christian Roesler and brother Sunday Morrison.

Ellen is survived by her husband of 44 years, Nathaniel Roesler, three sons, Benjamin, Moses and Timothy Roesler and eight daughters, Alpha Wesseh, Gladys Yambay, Decontee Farley, Cecelia Roesler, Connie Roesler, Princess Roesler- Chea, Roseline Roesler and Lillian Roesler.

A viewing for Ellen M. Roesler will begin at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 am in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. The burial for Ellen will be held at Mt Holly Springs Cemetery in Mt. Holly Springs, PA. www.EwingBrothers.com.
