Edna E. Barrick, 89, of Newville, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 in Green Ridge Village, Newville. She was born on January 28, 1928 in Newville, and was a daughter of the late Guy and Myrtle (Salisbury) Armolt. She was the widow of Oscar R. Barrick, Sr., who passed away on July 26, 1994.

Edna was a loving homemaker and member of the Doubling Gap Church of God in Newville.

She is survived by two sons; Oscar R. "Oz" (and his wife, Darlene) Barrick, Jr. and Richard L. (and his wife, Lisamarie) Barrick, both of Newville, one daughter, Lori Hosfelt of Newville, 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Armolt and one daughter, Sherry Kreitzer.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, with Pastor Don Snyder and Pastor Kelly Hall officiating.
