Edith Mae Shipp, 73, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at UPMC West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.  She was born on November 29, 1947, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Walter N. and Gladys L. (Stonebraker) Malloy.

Edith had been employed at the former Carlisle Ribbon Mill and retired as a supervisor for Burger King in Mechanicsburg.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Donald L. Shipp, Sr., three children, Donald L. Shipp, Jr. and his wife Wendi of Carlisle, Eleada Eichelberger and husband Bryan of Carlisle and Penny Shipp of Newville, five grandchildren, Crystal Dietrich and husband Dale of Newville, Bradley Eichelberger and wife Meeka of Carlisle, Brittney Eichelberger of Carlisle Justin Shipp and wife Alice of Newville and Merissa Shipp, five brothers, seven sisters, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
