Earl A. Windemaker, 82, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on May 31, 1933 in Carlisle and was a son of the late Credie F. and Nora A. (Schmol) Windemaker.

Earl was a 1951 graduate of Carlisle High School. He retired after 25 years of service with PennDot, where he was a "Road Foreman" in Cumberland County. Earl had previously worked for US Steel and Kessler's Meats. Earl was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed collecting antiques.

He is survived by one brother, Credie Windemaker, II of Carlisle, one sister, Janet Stone of Mechanicburg and several nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by one sister, Margie Davis and one brother, Robert Windemaker.

A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Pastor Doug Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in the LeTort Cemetery, Middlesex Twp.
