Earl R. "Old Man" Rowe, Jr., 67, of Newville, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, at UPMC Carlisle.  He was born on February 11, 1958, in Carlisle and is a son of Kathryn (Dietz) Rowe of Newville and the late Earl R. Rowe, Sr.

Earl retired from Carlisle Syntec as a machine operator with 42 years of service.  He was a member of the Carlisle Eagles and the Carlisle Moose.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Nancy E. (Barclay) Rowe, one son Earl R. (Michelle) Rowe, III, one daughter Melissa (Brady) Lesher of Carlisle, two brothers, Roger Rowe and Terry Rowe both of Newville, two sisters, Denise Lehman of Newville and Brenda Kauffman of Carlisle, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one sister Teresa Rowe.

A viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
