Douglas Keith Ryan, 45, of Carlisle, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 16, 2015, at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 19, 1969, in Carlisle, a son of Doris E. (Fernbaugh) Ryan Stout and her husband, Robert of Carlisle and the late Rodney E. Ryan.

Doug was a 1988 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and for the past several years was employed by Fisher Auto Parts in Mechanicsburg. Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, throwing horseshoes and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Brandon Michael Ryan and one daughter, Cassidy Nicole Ryan, both at home, one brother, Michael E. Ryan of Dillsburg, three sisters; D. Michelle Ryan and Denise C. Ryan, both of Mechanicsburg and Rebecca M. Jones of Carlisle, five nieces; Natasha, Kayla, Brianna, Tabitha and Taylynn and three nephews; Kodie, Kyle and Cole.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015, followed by services at 11:30 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.
