Douglas "Buck" Carey Jr., 31, of Carlisle, passed tragically on the morning of December 31, 2021.

Doug was born May 31, 1990, to Douglas Carey Sr. and Donna Rudy in Carlisle, PA.

Doug loved speed skating at Midway Skating Rink, four-wheeling, and fishing. Each year he

looked forward to fishing trips with his kids. Doug was a goofy carefree spirit who was always

cracking jokes and making others laugh. Even while fighting his own battles, he always

encouraged others to do better. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Doug is survived by his father; Douglas Carey Sr. and stepmother Dawn Carey, mother Donna

Rudy, brother, Shannon Trish and his girlfriend Noelle, sisters, Chelsea Lengel, her boyfriend,

Antwhan and Casey Carey with fiancé Renae Treichler, sons, Logan and Jordan Carey with

their mother Rachel Showers, sons, Brayden, and Elijah Carey with their mother Ashlyn Geedy

and her daughter Lillianna Geedy, nieces, Sophia Marrow and Brooklyn Treichler and nephews,

Bryce Davis and Bentley Treichler, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Carey, uncle Scott Carey, and cousin

Carrie Keifer.
