Dorothy K. Hribal, 85, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 3, 1941, in Carlisle to the late Bruce and Mildred (Weaver) Myers. She was the widow of the late Joseph R. Hribal, who passed away on February 3, 2021, after 53 years of marriage.

She graduated from Carlisle High School with the class of 1959. She was a long time member of Grace United Methodist Church and then Carlisle United Methodist Church. She spent over 10 years at McCoy Electronics in the sales department before she moved on to the NAVICP in Mechanicsburg as an Administrative Assistant, where she spent 17 years before she retired.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Damon V. (his partner Diana Robinson) Hribal, Matthew R. (his wife Cathleen) Hribal both of Carlisle, two grandchildren, Henry J. Hribal and Olivia C. Hribal both of Carlisle. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Fay Myers, Betty Cohick, and Helen Worley, and her two brothers, Robert Myers and K. Wayne Myers.

A private graveside service will be held in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens in Carlisle.
