Dorothy "Dottie" Jane Hodge, 69, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010, in Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born on Thursday, January 23, 1941, in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Elmer W. and Josephine (Stripling) Hodge.

She is survived by two brothers; Elmer Hodge, III of Ft. Worth, TX and Melvin Hodge of Carlisle, three sisters; Lena Graham, Betty Diggs and Rose Murray all of Carlisle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services to celebrate Dottie's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010, in the West Street A.M.E. Zion Church, 136 S. West St., Carlisle, with Rev. Darwin Hython officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CPARC, 71 Ashland Ave., Carlisle, PA 17013.
