Dorn K. Welsh, 82, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle. He was born on Friday, November 30, 1928 in Lock Haven, PA.

Dorn was a graduate of Lock Haven University, Penn State University and the correspondence school of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He was retired from both the Commonwealth of PA and the U. S. Air Force/Pennsylvania National Guard and was a Korean War Air Force veteran. He attended the Christ Community Church of Camp Hill, and was active in the Reserve Officers Association of the United States, Washington DC.

Dorn is survived byhis loving wife of 55 years, Irene S. Welsh, and friend, Timothy C. Bowers of Dillsburg, who was more like a son.

Services and burial will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
