Doris M. (Dittenhafer) Eichelberger, 87, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Forest Park Health Center in Carlisle.  She was born on July 28, 1937, in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late George W. Dittenhafer and Helen M. (Renshaw) Dittenhafer.  Doris was the widow of Donald L. Eichelberger who passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015.

Doris was a devoted homemaker and had also worked at several local restaurants in Carlisle.  She attended Family Worship in New Kingston.

She is survived by five sons, Ronnie L. (wife, Shelley) of Carlisle, Michael E. (wife, Landi) of Harrisburg, Barry L. Eichelberger of Carlisle, twins Keith A. Eichelberger of Carlisle and Bryan K. (wife, Dee) Eichelberger of Carlisle, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces.  Doris was preceded in death by one brother Robert Dittenhafer.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
