Donna Louise Noss, 75, of Carlisle, died Friday, October 10, 2014 at her residence.

Born October 27, 1938 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late William Kenneth and Sylvia E. (Steigleman) Weigle. She was the widow of James E. Noss, who died December 15, 2007.

Donna was a homemaker and was formerly employed with Carlisle Shoes, Kinney Shoes, and Chapel Pointe. She attended St. Mary United Methodist Church and Tree of Life Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are two daughters, Debra A. (Jeffery) Brehm and Diana L. (Thomas) Fraker, both of Carlisle; four grandchildren, Amanda Riggs, Melissa Brehm, Heidi Weston and Tommy Fraker; four great-grandchildren, Connor, Audrey, Olivia and Warren; a sister, Margaret Lay of Carlisle; a brother-in-law, Robert (Jean) Noss of Newville; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Kenneth Weigle, and a sister, Barbara E. Stum.

A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral services begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Pastor David Herr will officiate. Interment will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
