Donna Sue Nau, 73, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at her home. She was born on June 13, 1941 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Charles E. and Marjorie (Owen) Bevans.

A loving mother, Donna traveled and explored the world, raising three sons as a military officer's spouse. For the past 25 years, she was a proud resident of Boiling Springs and a devoted, caring grandmother. Donna took great pleasure in giving, sponsoring children all over the world, and donating to food banks, homeless shelters, and wildlife preservation groups. An avid nature and beach lover, Donna could be seen with her feet in the sand or walking her dog in parks throughout the area.

She is survived by three sons; John Nau of Madison, WI, David (Vino) Nau of Germantown and Jeff (Kirsten) Nau of Leesburg, VA, one brother, Charles E. Bevans, Jr., one sister, Margie Boster, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be privatelyheld in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Leesburg, VA. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieuof gifts and flowers, the family asks for donations to the ALS Foundation through the organization's website.
