Donna Marie Hemler, 78, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at home.  She was born on May 11, 1941 in Hanover and was the daughter of the late Albert Neiderer and Geraldine A. (Kaehler) Neiderer Lawrence.

Donna graduated in 1959 from Delone Catholic High School.  She was a devoted homemaker and caregiver for her disabled daughter for 30 years.  She was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God in Camp Hill.  Donna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing, cooking, caring for others and most of all she loved her Lord Jesus Christ.  She was active in Sunday School, the women's ministry and was a seamstress for the church Christmas and Easter Productions.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Raymond P. Hemler, son, Patrick Joseph Hemler (wife, Joy) of Savage, MD and their children; Ruth Marie Egan, Paul Joseph Hemler and Sarah Louise Hemler, son, Stephen Joseph Hemler (wife, Margaret) of Boiling Springs and their children; Madison Ellen Hemler, Sydney Eden Hemler and Amelia Amsley Hemler, one great-granddaughter, Cora Lisa Egan, one brother, Albert "Skip" Neiderer of New Oxford and several nieces and nephews.  Donna was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Marie Hemler and her stepfather, Thomas Lawrence.

A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019 followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.at Christian Life Assembly, 2645 Lisburn Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011 with Pastor Shane Wilson officiating.  Private burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Life Assembly, www.clacamphill.com.  www.Since1853.com.
