Donna Mae Owens Daughtry, 69, of Humble, TX and formerly of Carlisle transitioned on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 surrounded by family in Carlisle. She was born on June 9, 1949 in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Donald E. Owens, Sr. and Isabel (Green) Owens.

Donna graduated from Carlisle High School in 1967 and earned her Bachelors' degree in accounting from Ashford University, CA in 2018. Donna worked as an accountant for 30 years in the hospitality business. She was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Humble, TX. Donna loved her family and was active with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, William F. Daughtry, Jr. and his wife, Shelia of Humble, Texas, one step-daughter, Alyssa Hollis of Brooklyn, NY, three grandchildren; Nia, Angel and Ryan Daughtry, two brothers; William H. (wife, Marsha) Owens of Carlisle and Donald E. "Hook" Owens, Jr. of Carlisle, five sisters; Harriet A. Hodge of Carlisle, Sarah E. Horn of Carlisle, Emma L. (husband, Charles) Carothers of Carlisle, Roxanne M. Creamer of Martinsburg, WV and Cheryl A. Knight of Carlisle and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Carl L. Owens and Albert D. Owens.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the Carlisle Alliance Church, 237 E. North St, Carlisle, with Rev.
