Donna J. Baitsell, 72, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community, Carlisle. She was born on July 30, 1944 in Carlisle, and was a daughter of the Donald H. and Thelma (Beers) Smee.

Donna graduated in 1962 from Carlisle High School. She retired in 2010 after 47 years as a lab technician with the former Carlisle Hospital and Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Donna formerly attended the Bethel Assembly of God, Carlisle.

She is survived by two daughters; Sheri L. (husband, Larry) Kulawiecz of Carlisle and Kristen M. (husband, Rob) Mitchell of Dover, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, James Smee.

A viewing will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 followed by funeral services at 7:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Judy L.
