Donald Leslie Stickel, 76, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.

Born February 2, 1938 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Harlan and Hazel (Myers) Stickel.

He was a 1957 graduate of Carlisle High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He had been employed by Krueger Dairy, Irwin's Dairy, Gold Seal Ice Cream, AMP Inc. and Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

Surviving is a niece, Krista Andrews Uplinger and her husband, Randal, and a brother-in-law, John Andrews, all of Carlisle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William, a sister, Betty Andrews, as well as a niece, Cynthia Andrews.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Rd., Carlisle, with Chaplain Bradley V. Moore officiating.
