Dolores Jean Walterick, 91, formerly of Carlisle, died on Friday, October 3, 2025, in the Lebanon Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon, PA.  She was born on June 24, 1934, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Paul H. Walterick and Elizabeth (McCommon) Walterick.

She was a 1952 graduate of Carlisle High School.  Dolores retired after 32 years of service as a secretary in the Carlisle Water Department.  She formerly attended St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle.

She is survived by niece Yvonne S. Johnson, niece Corinne E. Kleinsak and nephew Daniel E. Wyrick and several grand nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia A. Wyrick, Miriam M. Walterick and Evelyn M. Walterick, one brother-in-law Paul E. Wyrick and one nephew Paul C. Wyrick.

A visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, followed by funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle.  Pastor John Wiegel officiating.  The burial will be at Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Carlisle Salvation Army.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
