Deloris M. Fahnestock, 74, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence in Harrisburg.  She was born on April 20, 1949, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Dale M. Barrick, Sr. and Joyce F. (Failor) Barrick.

Deloris had worked at the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot.  She retired from the Carlisle Wal-Mart where she worked as an inventory specialist.  She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 101, VFW Post 477 Ladies Auxiliary, Eagles Aerie 1299 Ladies Auxiliary and the Am Vets Auxiliary, all of Carlisle.

She is survived by two sons, Brian and Eric Fahnestock both of Carlisle, two brothers, Darwin and Greg Barrick both of Carlisle, two sisters, Pandora Mahurin and Sharon Barrick both of Carlisle, two grandchildren, Samantha Jean Fahnestock and Nathaniel Lee Fahnestock, two great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother Dale Barrick, Jr. and one sister Yvhonne Russell.
