Delores M. Thumma, 79, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011, at her home. She was born on Wednesday, February 17, 1932, in Dover, a daughter of the late Albert C. and Orpha A. (Messinger) Snyder, and the widow of William "Clark" Thumma, who died Feb. 25, 2011.

Delores was a 1951 graduate of Green Park Union High School in Perry County. She was a homemaker and formerly attended Great Hope Baptist Church, Carlisle and was a former member of Farm Women Group No. 1, Carlisle.

She is survived by her sons; Troy A. Thumma, Sr., with whom she lived, Clark Gary Thumma of Carlisle, Albert D. Crisamore, III of Luray, VA, Carl E. Crisamore of Camp Hill and Timothy R. Crisamore of York County, three daughters; Debra A. Grice of Adams County, Deidre E. Shortlidge of York and Karlyn J. Foose of West York and numerous grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in the Young's United Methodist Church Cemetery, 40 Old State Rd., Shermans Dale, with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements.
