Della Marie Walters, 86, of Boiling Springs, passed away in Boiling Springs on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.  She was born on September 12, 1937, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Andrew Morrison and Della (Morrison) Morrison.  She was the widow of John C. Walters and COL (Ret) Louis G. Marinacci, US Army.

Della graduated from Carlisle High School with the Class of 1955.  She owned and operated a licensed day care at her home for many years and formerly worked at Carlisle Shoe Factory and as a seamstress with Glass Carriage, Carlisle.  She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Group.  Della was a former member of the Carlisle Garden Club.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (husband Douglas) Hair of Boiling Springs, Steven M. (husband Joe Aronica) Walters of Philadelphia, Kim (husband Brad) Wolf of Boiling Springs and John Walters, Jr. of Carlisle, her beloved grandchildren, Jennie, Heather, Tristan, Joshua, Bryson and John, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Della was preceded in death by one granddaughter Stephanie Bailes, six brothers and four sisters.

A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015 with Pastor Steve Salisbury officiating.  The burial will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  A viewing will be at the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service.  A time of fellowship will follow the service at the church.  Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to her church.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
