Obituary

Debra K. Kail, 62, of Shippensburg, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 in the Chambersburg Hospital.  She was born on August 22, 1956 in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Marlin H. Motter, Sr. and Margaret (Gipe) Motter.  Debra was the widow of Nicholas F. Kail, Jr. who passed away on June 4, 2002.

Deb attended Big Spring High School and worked for 20 years with the Karns Food in Boiling Springs.

She is survived by four daughters; Jennifer (husband, William) Imler of Palmyra, Christina (husband, Brian) Sightler of Boiling Springs, Teresa Little of Mechanicsburg and Michelle Kail of Shippensburg, four brothers; Marlin, Dave, Mitchell and Raymond Motter, two sisters; Judy Kann and Diane Breya, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Deb was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert and James Motter and one son-in-law, Benjamin "Rocky" Little, III.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.  Burial will be private in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Churchtown. www.EwingBrothers.com .
