Deborah R. Judd, 61, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born on Friday, May 27, 1949, in Boonesboro, MD, a daughter of the late William and Phyllis (Sampsell) Cunningham.

Deb was a 1967 graduate of Carlisle High School and received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Hagerstown Junior College. Deb was a registered nurse, and was formerly employed by the Church of God Home in Carlisle, where she was a nursing supervisor for nine years. Deb also worked for several years at the former Carlisle Hospital and the Alexander Spring Rehabilitation also in Carlisle. She was a longtime member of Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church.

She is survived by two sons; Jeremy M. Judd of Bangor and John M. Judd of Carlisle, a daughter, Jennifer M. Allen of Pittsburgh, four brothers; Dennis Cunningham of Carlisle, Darryl Cunningham of Williamsburg, VA, David Cunningham of Dunedin, FL and Derek Cunningham of Franklin, TN, a sister, Donna Myers of Carlisle, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services to celebrate Deb's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010, in the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church, 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd., Carlisle, with Pastor Alan Robinson officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation and fellowship will immediately follow the services at the church. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.
